Is it radical to suggest that there is a better way to do things, inspired by modern economics, and policy demonstrated around the rest of Europe? Only in the UK.
We can well do without radical lunatics bringing the country to its knees economically thanks...it will be difficult enough moving forward under Brexit, without the hard left getting their foot in the door and they will if Corbyn gets in...Abbott, McDonnell etc is frightening enough surely?!!
With much respect to Mr. Younge, I think there are several observations that can be made around his core ideas in the piece.
I do not believe the only reason that the Labour party are winning local elections is solely because of Mr. Corybns leadership. I think it is also about the electorate are not seeing any credible alternative i.e. the Conservatives have dug themselves into a hole, based on their own in fighting and more importantly their disastrous policies that are affecting the “average guy & gal” in the street. The Lib Dems are still tarnished with the effects of their foray into a coalition with the Conservatives. I think that some of the more moderate traditional Labour voter & supporter, will be very concerned about the party’s tilt more to the left. This reminds me of the bad old eighties when the party was so left wing it became unelectable to government. To me you can have as many good intentioned Socialist ideas as you want, but if you cannot win enough seats to form government then to me the party’s failed (itself & the voter). I think that today politics is becoming very polarized across the planet, with Conservatives shifting far to right wing, and socialist becoming far to left wing.
I would like to see the Labour party embrace more of the political middle ground as well as its traditional left wing ideas.
Plus we have the added component to the mix, which is Brexit. I think the party’s stance around Brexit is just wrong. I think when 48% of the electorate vote against something, then woe betide any political party that is willing to ignore those members of the electorate. I am sure that the Brexit issue will be simmering away in the core of the electorate for a very long time; unless the Labour party can change its ideas on this issue and win over pro European voters, then there will be some of the electorate who will not consider the party as credible. To me if Mr. Corbyn & the party was seen to be more pro-Europe, then the party would have a better chance of winning the next election. I think under Mr. Corbyns leadership the party is tilting far too much to the left, and unless it also radically embraces more moderate ideas that appeal to a broader spectrum of voters, then the Labour party better be prepared to form the official opposition after the next election.
Flipping the roles doesn’t make it any better.Better is when we have equal roles and opportunities irrespective of our gender. Please take these down. You are hurting the work of people trying to dissociate feminism and man bashing.Men and women need to have a dialogue with each other.

How To Make Perfect PancakesWhisk 1 1/2 cups flour, 3 tablespoons sugar, 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon baking soda in a medium bowl.
Whisk 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons milk, 4 tablespoons melted butter and 1 egg in a separate bowl; fold into the flour mixture until just combined (it's OK if there are some lumps).
Brush a large nonstick skillet or griddle with butter and heat over medium-low heat. Add ¼ cupfuls of batter and cook until bubbly on top and golden on the bottom, about 4 minutes. Flip and cook until golden on the bottom, about 2 more minutes. (Makes 6 to 8 pancakes.)
Apple CEO is spending $350 Billion in the US, they're building a huge call center in the US, they're hiring 20,000 people and Tim Cook says it's because of Trump's tax cut. He also states that Trump's tax cut WILL increase employment numbers in the US.
Way to go WAPO, ignore the multiple stories about the brutally cold weather gripping the Country. You are not news, you are purveyors of agenda and narratives.

Just covering your hair doesn’t make you modest. To me, the purpose of hijab is to escape unwelcome attention. When a woman wears tight clothes and lots of makeup it negates the purpose of the headscarf. Amena Khan is welcome to her own opinion, but when I viewed her YouTube video, it seemed to me she had a big chip on her shoulder.
Was confused and thought this concept wouldn't make any sense, even though I've already been aware that hijabis do care for their hair like anyone else... then I watched the commercial. Not at all what I pictured it would be. The commercial was well done.
Hijabs are great for makeup ads—they highlight the face and give it exotic appeal. I love this direction in ads.
(It's 2018—fear of other religions and their rituals is now considered bizarre by all educationally refined people.)
